Project Manager - Unpaid Internship

This internship will provide you a tremendous opportunity for growth. There will be constant change, but one thing is certain: You will learn faster at Clear Measure than you will anywhere else.

Our Project Managers at Clear Measure have a multitude of responsibilities both internal and external to the company. In addition to tracking budgets, creating invoices, and facilitating key meetings, they have the primary responsibility of understanding, setting, and managing client expectations. This means understanding the big picture and identifying how the events that occurred on the project today affect the long term plan and roadmap. In order to accomplish that task, they must have a keen understanding of the technology direction, milestones, requirements, status of the in-progress deliverables, and quality of the codebase. They are also responsible for identifying and tracking risks and proactively communicating any blocks or potential blocks to the client. So many tasks fall to the Project Manager on a daily basis that it’s difficult to list all of them here. They are indispensable to the client, the team, and the company. As we continue to refine our practices, Project Managers will also begin to quantify the ROI of the systems we build to make our value crystal clear to our clients.

Assist Project Managers in Their Responsibilities:

  • Identify, manage and resolve project dependencies, conflicts and critical paths
  • Work closely with team leads to provide a roadmap and track project milestones and deliverables
  • Manage client expectations by communicating to stakeholders at every step of the project
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Work collaboratively with development team, chief architect and the vice president to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation.
  • Demonstrate experience in leading cross-functional project teams
  •  Manage escalations of both project and client incidents
  • Act as key client point of contact for multiple projects
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Facilitate agile processes and process improvement
  • Manage and monitor the project budget throughout the project lifecycle
  • Make yourself indispensable by making the account manager, vice president, and chief architect more effective in servicing our clients

  • High school graduate
